Top Accelerated Readers Announced for August In order for Badger Springs students to "Get on the Bus" and meet the State reading standard (500,000 words for 6th grade, 1,000,000 words for 7th and 8th), a 26-minute Reading To Achieve (RTA) period was added to the school day. Accelerated Reader is being implemented school-wide. Each month we will be honoring the Top Readers for the month.

	New Bell Schedule for the 2010-2011 School Year Check out the new bell schedule. There is no homeroom this year. Make sure students are on time to school so they are not tardy to first period. In addition, passing periods are 4 minutes, and there is a 26 minute Reading to Achieve (RTA) 4 days a week. Students are required to carry a reading book each day.
	Summer Camp July 26-30 2010 from 8:30-11:00am Attention new 6th, 7th, and 8th graders: Here is a chance to get ready for your next grade in middle school, meet new friends, meet some of your new teachers and learn how to be successful next year as a Badger Springs Middle School student.

	Infinite Campus - Passwords have CHANGED Parents/Students - Infinite campus passwords have changed, they are no longer your child's birthdate. In order to access infinite campus you must ask your student for their Badger Springs computer password. You will continue to use their ID number as the username, but will need their 6 digit password (2 letters and 4 numbers). Please keep these passwords private, as any misuse is a violation of the technology agreement signed in the registration packet.
